National Lottery winnning store news… this time from Cork!

Congratulations to O’Connells Myrtleville in Cork who sold the winning €2.4 million ticket.

It was the first National Lottery win for the shop, which opened in 1901.

That was also the second Lotto jackpot win in the space of one week following the €6.4 million win in Athlone on Saturday 22nd May, 2021.

Prior to that, in December 2020, the shop that sold the €10.7 million National Lottery jackpot ticket was revealed as Spar in Mount Oval, Rochestown, Co. Cork.

Owner of the store is Cork native, Shane Cantillon who runs the local store with the help of his brother Mark, his father Greg and an additional 30 local staff members.
